This online calculator designs a rectangular channel transition from supercritical to subcritical flow, following part (b) of Example 3-4 of Chow (1959), i.e., with a hydraulic jump. Details of the computational procedure have been presented by Ponce (2015).

Units

Currently, only the U.S. Customary system of units is available. SI (metric) units will be available in the future.
